We are no longer accepting donations on this campaign, but there are other ways for you to support us today!

For some families in Dane County, a holiday meal is a luxury they just can’t afford.

Give to H.O.P.E.

This holiday season, you can Help Other People Eatright here in our community—with a generous donation of your funds, your food, and your time to The River Food Pantry.

Why Give to Our H.O.P.E. Holiday Food Drive?

  • You will make the holiday season brighter for those struggling to make ends meet in our community, including children, adults, seniors, and veterans!
  • Your support will allow The River to serve over 1,000 food-insecure households in Dane County every week before, during and after the holidays.
  • Because The River is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, your donations are 100 percent tax deductible.
  • 95 cents of every dollar you donate will go directly to those we serve:
    • $30=a complete holiday meal for 1 local family of up to 8
    • $50=holiday meal and weekly groceries for 1 family
    • $250=holiday meals and weekly groceries for 5 families
    • $500=holiday meals and weekly groceries for 10 families
    • $1,000=holiday meals and weekly groceries for 20 families

Thank you in advance for your kind consideration and for helping us end hunger over the holidays.

When donating online, you might see a charge in your payment history as "Network For Good." This is the payment processing and donor management service we use to track and process payments. When selecting to "pay a transaction fee," you are allowing us to receive the full amount of your donation, then covering the cost of the fee that Network For Good charges. When declining this, you are still giving us a donation, but the fee comes out of the amount you pledge to us. Example: You donate $20 to The River. If you accept the fee, you pay $20.75. If you decline the fee, The River receives $19.25. This applies to every payment, including reoccurring payments.
